Paula's love of design began early on.  As an only child, Paula loved shifting furniture, painting, wallpapering (yes, the small floral prints were trendy) and decorating Barbi's condo a million times.  Her passion for transforming spaces continued into adulthood by redesigning every apartment & house she's lived in, which are many!  A move back home to Ohio from North Carolina defined her passion: Home Staging. 

 

Drawing from her past experiences and love of helping others, her first Staging Company Refreshed Spaces was born in 2007.  Her mission:  to assist homeowner's with the overwhelming task of preparing homes for market.  Part of the process involved addressing updates and upgrades forming relationships with great contractors,  and suppliers who share a passion for design and high standards in completing projects the right way.  Many years later, Paula transitioned into ReadyHome Columbus and developed a proven multi-phase process process guiding home seller's in maximizing equity return.

Interior Design has always been a part of our company, but became center stage during COVID.  Since so many clients work from home, we adopted a "lifestyle approach" to transforming homes by adding Personal Shopping, Organization Solutions, E-Design & Renovation to our repertoire.  With Home Staging as our background, we use this as an advantage over most interior designers as we are always planning for a future move and prefer a classic & timeless aesthetics.  

Rachel's grew up in Dayton, Ohio.  Her love of design began early on with arranging her room all the time, and leafing through magazines for inspiration. 

 

Rachel graduated from Ohio University with a degree in communication.  She decided to pursue a career in Event Planning where she could combine her love of design, creative talents, and organization skills, along with her love of helping people.  She truly enjoyed bringing client’s visions to life and transforming venues into beautiful spaces.  She has been recognized as a very detail oriented, hands-on project leader and has mastered the craft of orchestrating the perfect event!   

 

Rachel met her husband and decided to make their home in Columbus Ohio. It was at this time that she switched her career path and landed a position with Edwards Communities in leasing, then a position was created for her to aide in recruiting, training & retention of employees.  After five years with the company, Rachel decided her priority was to be a stay-at-home mom, however, never forgot her first love of design and continued to use her talents to create lovely spaces for family and friends.              

 

 Upon deciding to rejoin the work force, Rachel found the perfect fit with ReadyHome Columbus to flex her creative muscle as our go-to Stylist, Personal Shopper, and very talented Organizational Specialist!
